Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard are closing in on a return to full training.
The pair remain out alongside Jan Vertonghen (knee) and Clinton Njie (knee) for tomorrow's (Saturday, January 30, 12.45pm) FA Cup fourth round tie at Colchester United.
However, Ryan and Alex are progressing well, according to Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino.
"They are still out but they are very close to start training with the team," reported Mauricio. "In fact, Ryan may be back in full training with the team on Monday."
Ryan (ankle) has been out since the goalless draw against Chelsea on November 29 while Alex has been recovering well after undergoing ankle surgery in October.
